Role Details
We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of architectural aluminium profiles within the construction industry as well as being one of the UK’s leading suppliers of waterproofing solutions, predominantly for flat roofs. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our existing team and we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Sheet Metal Fabrications Design/Office Manager to join our team in Poole, Dorset.
This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of £45 - 50,000.00 DOE.
Working hours: 39.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the smooth day-2-day running of the fabrications office and all activities within it.
- To produce detailed and accurate CAD/SolidWorks drawings along with any relevant calculations as requested.
- Always maintain and update our CAD systems, CRM, project records and company processes.
- To work with, support and answer any queries from the general fabrications team when required.
- To communicate effectively with any internal or external enquires, queries or issues that may arise in a professional and timely manner.
- When required, prepare, produce, and submit quotations to our customers and/or sales team within the specified time frame.
- To remain up to date with all technical aspects of the Company's products and services, and all relevant aspects of the business sector and the wider industry.
- To undertake training as required to develop & maintain personal skills to fulfil the above to the required standards.
- Ensuring that our CRM system and project records are always kept up to date.
- To undertake any training, as required, to develop and maintain personal skills to help fulfil the above duties and standards.
Essential:
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks
- Sheet metal / mechanical experience.
- Able to understand technical and/or architectural drawings.
- Experience with Office 365 to include outlook and excel.
- CRM experience.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
